How To Optimize Facebook Messenger in iPad

How To Optimize Facebook Messenger in iPad

Hi! My dear friends! Facebook Messenger is a brand new iPhone app from Facebook that lets you send and receive text messages to and from your friends on Facebook. Using push notifications you can use the the new Facebook Messenger app as a pseudo replacement for SMS Text Messaging, and save a few dollars especially when traveling abroad. The app is quite simple in nature yet boasts interesting features that make it powerful & useful.Unlike the chat pane on the Facebook website, with Facebook Messenger pretty much all your friends who have the app installed are online and avaialble at all times. No need to check for a green dot. Thanks to push notifications, just check for a mobile iPhone icon next to their name. If you and your friends all have the new app, you will save on text messaging costs.

A few months after Facebook revealed it was removing Messenger from its main iOS and Android apps, the social networking giant has finally introduced iPad support for its standalone Facebook Messenger app.Facebook activity on the mobile messaging front of late. Earlier this year, it bought the perennially popular WhatsApp for a cool $19 billion. And just last month, it introduced another messaging app called Slingshot, which we called an ephemeral messaging app to rival Snapchat. It’s a bit of a bonkers idea that has divided opinions, but essentially it borrows from other well known apps like Vine, Instagram (another Facebook service), and Snapchat.

Yahoo's Aviate New Features

Hi Guys! Aviate, the Android launcher app acquired by Yahoo earlier this year, was updated with powerful new features on Monday.Aviate, which is now open to everyone, was an invite-only beta since its launch last October. Previously, users had to request an invitation and spend time on a wait list to get access to the app.Unlike many other Android launchers, which focus
customization, Aviate aims to simplify your home screen, according to Mark Daiss, the app's cofounder and Yahoo product manager."It's intended to be simple   stock Android experience is a little confusing," Daiss toldMashable. "We saw this huge opportunity to innovate and move out of this app-centric model  this grid of apps  and really move towards something that's a little bit more compelling for the user, and gives the user information the moment it's useful without them having to search."

Aviate learns from your habits, and provides recommendations based on the time of day, and what you most likely want to see at that moment. For example, when you wake up, you may see how long you slept (the update includes sleep-tracking capabilities), the weather forecast, news headlines and a brief overview of your calendar for the day.But the app also adds context to this information. Instead of just seeing the weather forecast, Aviate will also let you know when the weather will be significantly cooler or warmer than the day before. It also knows the places where you spend the most time, and can tell you how much traffic to expect during your morning commute.
                                    Aviate app home screens
Aviate is continuously changing throughout the day based on your location and patterns. Once you get to work, for example, the screen will change to emphasize the apps and information you typically use while working, such as email, calendar and other productivity apps. The latest version of Aviate was built with the Incredible Labs team, another recent Yahoo acquisition, which created the Donna virtual assistant app. While Aviate doesn't have a human-like persona, the team did build some assistant-like features into the app, particularly its calendar.Aviate's calendar pulls in information from all the calendars on your device, not only displaying your events, but also acting as a smart calendar. It can automatically dial in to conference calls, and send "I'm running late" emails to other participants with one tap.Aviate also organizes your apps into themed collections, such as music, social and news, so you can easily find apps without swiping through multiple menus. The favorites section provides easy access to text, call or email for people you contact the most often.

Windows 9 Confirm features leaked

Windows 9 Confirm features leaked

Hi Friends! Microsoft is busy preparing a second update to Windows 8.1, but the company is largely focused on a larger "Windows 9" release due next year. ZDNet reports that a preview of code name Threshold   which may or may not be named Windows 9 once it’s released   will be available later this year. The public preview is said to arrive in the fall, shortly after Windows 8.1 Update 2 is delivered to existing machines. Microsoft had been planning to bring the Start Menu back with Update 2, but the company is now planning to deliver that change with Threshold.

While Microsoft has started to move away from the Start Screen for desktop PCs with Windows 8.1 Update, it appears that it will go further in the "Windows 9" release. Sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans tell The Verge that the company is testing versions of Windows that enable the Start Menu by default on desktop machines, and hide the existing Start Screen from use. The Start Screen can be re-enabled in Microsoft’s test builds, and it’s believed that the company will keep this option for desktop users who prefer the tiled Start Screen.
             Winstartmenu
Microsoft originally revealed a concept for its upcoming Start Menu at its Build developer conference earlier this year, and the final version will ship with a more refined interface. The concept includes Live Tiles floating in the Start Menu, providing access to traditional and "Metro-style" applications. Microsoft is also planning to allow "Metro-style" apps to float on the desktop in windows, much the same way that traditional x86 applications do today. Both changes are planned for "Windows 9," and a separate combination of Windows Phone and Windows RT will provide the basis for a mobile version designed without a desktop mode in place.
Windows 8.1 Update 2 is expected to arrive as part of Microsoft’s monthly security patches in August. The update will include the usual bug fixes, and improvements for upcoming hardware ahead of the holiday season. Windows' 8.1 Update included a number of interface changes and functionality tweaks, and Update 2 is expected to include some additional minor interface tweaks.

iPhone And Android Latest App - install or Download Venmo App For android And iPhone

iPhone And Android Latest App - install or Download Venmo App For android And iPhone

Hi Friends! Now a days struggling to split restaurant checks and utility bills, scrounging for change in your car, and desperately searching for an ATM are gone forever thanks to Venmo. Opened to the public in March 2012, and available for both iPhone and Android, this free app allows you to send money for free and cash out your balance to your bank account over a 256-bit encrypted connection. It's easy, safe and can even make you a little bit of cash if you don't mind harassing your friends. Here's how to get started.

HERE SOME PROCESS TO USING VENMO:

OPEN YOU"R ACCOUNT:

You can either connect your Facebook to your Venmo account, or sign up with your name, email address and number.

                                                VenmoSignUp2
Once you do, it will ask you to verify your phone, which will bring up a text window. After you send the text, you'll be able to connect your credit or debit card. You can also connect your bank account if you want to deposit the balance you accrue, but it isn't required. Then, Venmo will allow you to connect with contacts who've already downloaded the app, and you can invite your friends to join. This is where you can make money if you're willing to inundate a few friends with invitations. If a friend you invited to join Venmo downloads the app, you'll get a notification. Once she makes her first transaction, you'll receive five dollars credited toward your Venmo balance. There's no limitation to what you can do with that money.
Sending and receiving money on Venmo is fairly straightforward. In the top-right corner of your screen, you'll find a pen and paper icon. Tap it to pull up the payment and request form, and fill out the amount and details as necessary. A sliding button at the top of the screen will allow you to choose between a payment and a charge. You can also send a group of people a charge or payment, if it's for the same amount of money. This is perfect for situations like evenly splitting the cost of a check among a group of people at the restaurant, or if you made and lost the same bet with a few different people. One word of caution: You'll have to input your own decimals, so if you want to send someone a $15.25 payment, make sure you type 1-5-.-2-5, or else $1,525 might be charged to your card if your friend is desperate or shady enough to accept it.Whether you receive a payment or a charge, you will have to approve any transaction sent your way. Venmo will not deposit money into your balance, nor withdraw money from your balance or charge your credit card without your approval. If someone who owes you money is slow to pay you back, you can send a reminder to spur some action.
                                                  VenmoMomPay
Along with its simple payment and request system, Venmo connects users to a mini-social network built around the app's transactions. From the app's homescreen, you'll be able to scroll through three continuously updating tickers of charges: one of charges happening near you, one of charges your friends made and one of all of your charges. The amount of money exchanged will be hidden, but you'll be able to see the memo attached to the payment and to whom the payment was sent.

How To Use TriggerTrap For iOS Devices

How To Use TriggerTrap For iOS Devices

Hello Friends! TECHDEBUTE SAYS camera captures a photograph in a fraction of a second, but many creative opportunities open up when you manually control the shutter speed. Getting luscious photos of star trails, for example, requires keeping the shutter open for longer than most camera controls allow. To get that shot, you need to switch to Bulb mode and use a manual-release cable to open and close the shutter with the help of a newfangled technology called “your thumb.”
Of course, we’re talking about photography, so there are plenty of devices and gadgets that give you this and many other options. An intervalometer, for example, fires the camera’s shutter at a steady rate over a period of time.

Instead of toting several devices for different shutter speeds, you can turn to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and the free app TriggerTrap Mobile. The app offers numerous ways to control your camera’s shutter, provided your camera is one of the hundreds that are supported. The app requires a cable that works with your camera (not all models use the same type of connector), available as a separate $30 purchase. As a simple cable release, TriggerTrap Mobile is definitely overkill, but in the best way. Four cable release modes let you fire the shutter with a single tap on the app’s giant red shutter button, by pressing and holding the button, by pressing once to open and pressing again to close the shutter, and by setting a specific timed release.
                                                        triggertrap interface

App gets decidedly more interesting with its Timelapse and Sensor modes. The Bramping mode sets the number of shots and the interval between shots, but you also get to choose different shutter durations for the beginning and end of the shoot. As daylight fades, longer exposures make better use of available light. Or consider the DistanceLapse feature, which takes advantage of the device’s geolocation sensor to take a picture at distance intervals, such as every 500 meters.TriggerTrap’s Sensor modes fire the shutter based on sound, vibration, motion, or facial recognition picked up by the iOS device’s sensors and camera. In my testing, I set up my DSLR and an iPhone 5s to capture birds at a bird feeder. The Motion Sensor mode uses the iPhone’s camera, so I had to make sure it was pointed at the same spot. The mode doesn’t offer a sensitivity setting, resulting in some photos of the bird feeder shifting in the wind, but compensates with a setting to choose how many objects move in the frame before triggering the shutter.
          triggertrap setup
TriggerTrap can take over in the cold when you want to stay cozy inside. If you have two iOS devices, the remote Wi-Fi trigger modes let you control the app on one connected to the camera from another. Curiously, the sensor modes use the “master” device that you hold, not the “slave” attached to the camera, making those features far less useful remotely. It also doesn’t work with modes that require the camera to be in Bulb mode.

Upcoming new Samsung Galaxy Tab And Features

Upcoming new Samsung Galaxy Tab And Features

Hi My Dear friends! Korean hardware giant will build Nook software into Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 tablets and sell them in Barnes & Noble retailers as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nooks. announcement comes roughly four months after Barnes & Noble CEO Mike Huseby promised new hardware by late this year. Now, in a partnership with Samsung, he seems to have delivered on his promise, while mostly exiting the hardware business.7-inch Tab 4 will be a co-branded Android device, but will offer the Barnes & Noble's Nook reading experience. The Nook HD tablets were notable for a consumer-friendly interface that allowed users to configure profiles for each family member.

                                   Samsung-galaxy-tab-4-nook1

Standing behind these great new devices will be the power of our 40,000 Barnes & Noble booksellers combined with our deep bookselling and retail expertise to provide sales support and personalized in-store customer service for our lineup of new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook products," Huseby said.current Galaxy Tab 4 costs $199.99, runs Android 4.4 (KitKat), features two cameras (1.3 megapixel on the front and 3 megapixel on the back) and boasts a 1280 x 800 screen, which is actually a lower screen resolution than Barnes & Noble's last 7-inch Nook HD (1440 x 900). No word yet on whether or not the Tab 4 Nook's will also offer access to Google Play.

Barnes & Noble will continue to sell its own GlowLight e-readers alongside the Tab 4 Nooks starting this August, and confirmed to TECHDEBUTE that it will build new e-readers as well. Late last year, Barnes & Noble delivered an ultralight, 6.2-oz. e-reader with e-ink, but did little to market it during the holiday buying season.
