How TO Resetting Passwords On Windows 8

How TO Resetting Passwords On Windows 8

Hi Friends!  Windows password isn’t the end of the world. You don’t have to trash the computer, or even perform a dreaded factory restore. There are many ways to remove or reset a Windows password, but how quickly and easily it can be done depends on the situation.
Password reset methods differ between Microsoft and local Windows accounts. If you aren’t sure which type of Windows account you have, it’s simple to find out: turn on your computer and see if an email address is displayed above where you enter your password to login. If there’s an email, it’s a Microsoft account. If not, it’s a local account.Resetting the password for Microsoft accounts can be relatively quick and easy. Resetting local accounts, however, takes a hack or a third-party tool. Since computers preloaded with Windows 8 include a new Secure Boot and the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) boot method, using a third-party tool complicates the process further.

RESETTING PASSWORDS ON MICROSOFT ACCOUNT:
Microsoft-based Windows 8 account, you can use Microsoft’s online form to reset the password. You can complete this from another PC, or even a smartphone or tablet. Although you can find a phone number for Microsoft support, I was told when calling that they can’t help with password resets; you must use their online form.easier to reset your password online if your current email address or cell phone number are saved to your Microsoft account. The online form will show you an incomplete email address and cell number you have on file. You must then confirm the full address or number and choose which one you’d like them to send the reset code to.If you don’t remember the full email address or cell number that’s on file, or don’t have access to them anymore, you can fill out a questionnaire including account security questions. If your information checks out, the site will help you create a new password.
                       Microsoft account password recovery

Once you successfully reset your password using Microsoft’s online form, you should be able to login with the new password. Your computer must be connected to the Internet to be updated with the new password.
          Microsoft account password recovery questionnaire
REMOVING PASSWORDS OF A LOCAL MICROSOFT ACCOUNT:
Resetting a password using these methods means you will lose access to any encrypted files utilizing the Encrypting File System (EFS) built into Windows and stored passwords for Internet Explorer and network resources. There are many other bootable password recovery and rescue tools that work with the latest Windows versions, but most require changing the boot settings of your computer. If you have a genuine Windows 8 disc or flash drive, you should be able to boot from it without having to change the boot settings. If this is the case, you can use it to perform a so called “Sticky Keys” hack to reset your local Windows account password.
Windows 8 Advanced Startup Options (ASO) screen
Before you can boot up a third-party tool on a computer that came pre-loaded with Windows 8 or later, you must temporarily disable the new Secure Boot and UEFI features. Start by holding the Shift key down while you restart Windows 8, even from the initial login screen.Once it boots into the Advanced Startup Options (ASO) menu click Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, and UEFI Firmware Settings. The exact settings differ between PC manufacturers, but find and disable the Secure Boot and UEFI features, which may include enabling the Compatibility Support Module (CSM) or legacy boot mode.Once you run the bootable third-party tool and clear your Windows password, you should re-enable Secure Boot and UEFI. Then you should be able to boot into Windows again and login.
                                               Windows 8 password settings screen
local Windows 8 account, you can create a password reset disk using a USB flash drive via the User Account settings in the Control Panel. If the password is ever forgotten, even if it has been changed since you made the reset disk, you can plug in the USB flash drive in order to reset your password.

How To improve Android Mobile's Battery Life

How To improve Android Mobile's Battery Life

Hi Friends! Android has gotten much better at managing background processes in the last few years. Anyone who has used Google's platform since the early days can tell you how bad things used to be when “task killers” were a necessity. Even though Android as a whole isn't subject to the same horrible battery life issues, the wrong combination of apps can still break Android’s elegant process management scheme.Conventional wisdom used to be that you should open the multitasking interface and kill any application you’re not using to save battery life, and unfortunately this superstition still persists. But Android knows how to manage background tasks, and swiping apps out of the multitasking interface only closes the foreground process. If an app is indeed causing issues, it's usually the background process that's doing it. This sort of micromanagement will only waste time.

Android battery use menu can be helpful, but it only tells part of the story. Most apps show up here because you're actually using them a lot—that's to be expected. This menu merely shows you the system process and app packages that are using juice, but the 'Awake' and 'Screen on' lines are the most important. If you have a lot more awake time than screen on, something might be keeping your phone from sleeping. This is called a wakelock, and it's the number one enemy of your battery life.

immediately obvious that a phone is in wakelock for long periods. By all appearances, the screen is off and it seems to be asleep like it should be. One clue that something is going wrong is excess heat generation. When the CPU is cranked up instead of in deep sleep, the device might be noticeably warmer than usual when you pick it up. You'll need to do a little detective work, though, and that's where the apps come in handy. One quick and easy way to watch for a phone that won't sleep is to use an app likeSystem Monitor to track CPU clock speed. This app breaks down CPU activity as a percentage. Unless you've been using the device almost constantly, ”Deep Sleep” should be the largest part of the chart. If not, you've probably got a misbehaving app or system process.

BetterBatteryStats sometimes includes links to more information about wakelocks with some ideas for fixing them. Otherwise, you can search for information on the exact system process and find a likely solution. Often, a reboot will knock some sense into your phone and clear this up.

Simply use Greenify to identify the problematic apps, and hit the hibernate button after you're done using them. Greenify works best with root access—it can handle all this in the background. For non-rooted devices, you can use the in-app button or a widget to manually trigger the hibernation routine.

Top 5 iOS 8 Features For Android

Top 5 iOS 8 Features For Android

Hi Guys ! Here We Are all using many More Android Apps Using more and more Recently released for IOS 8 For iPhone , But Now today We are all using this any Features to Top Android and many uses , Android users and the fragmentation that plagues the platform. He then followed up the jabs by introducing a slew of new features to the forthcoming iOS 8 that sounded really familiar because many of them seem to have been lifted from Android.Apple's keynote was mostly focused on satiating its loyal users' requests and give newly-converted Android users an incentive to come back to the Church of Apple. Cupertino cribbed some notable features from the Google-born mobile operating system and wrapped 'em up in iOS 8 code, but here are some of the more obvious ones.

“OK, Google”  It’s been a major part of Google Now since Jelly Bean, and a major feature in Motorola’s latest hardware, particularly the Moto X and some of the latest flagship devices, including the LG-manufactured Nexus 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S5. Granted, the ability to do so from the Home screen wasn't available until Android 4.4 KitKat. Shouting out “Hey, Siri” is certainly an easier way to summon Apple’s personal assistant than holding down the home button. To its credit, it works even with the screen off, which is currently a feature limited only to Motorola’s current smartphone lineup.

ACTIONABLE NOTIFICASTION'S:

                                      wwdc14 notifications

Email notification without ever having to launch the app? Or Like that Facebook post right from the notification drawer? If you’re an Android user, you’ve been able to do this since Android 4.1.iOS 8 will also have this feature when it rolls out in September. It lets users respond to messages, reminders, and calendar invitations without ever leaving the Notifications shade
the same Notifications shade that was cribbed from an earlier version of Android.

APP STORE FEATURES AND DEVELOPERS:

Android has always been a community-oriented OS and its become more so since the arrival of Google+. Developers can create a community page on the social network and invite Android users to try out their beta app and leave feedback, with the app distributed through, and updated by, the Play Store. It appears Apple wants to appeal to this subset of users, too. Cupertino must have figured that if it’s got closed ecosystem, the least it could do is let users chime in once in a while, so iOS 8 users will be able to take advantage of Test Flight. It's a service that lets developers give users access to a beta version of an app so they can deal with logging bugs in exchange for having access to it before anyone else. Additionally, Apple now allows videos to be embedded in app store app pages, which will help its users better “window shop” through the iTunes App Store rather than stare at static screenshots. The Google Play store has had that feature for awhile.

iCLOUD:

Google’s obsession with the cloud, but Apple’s got it, too. iCloud started out as a relatively limited service but it’s since blossomed into its own capable storage platform. Cupertino announced even more functionality for it today; it's called iCloud Drive and it has its own folder on OS X and even Windows, which both Dropbox and Google Drive have been able to do from the start. It backs up your photos, and lets you store any document of any file type. Sound familiar,iOS 8 really takes its cues from Android, however, by adding in a Finder-like file browser in iOS that lets users peruse through files and folders. iCloud Drive storage only works with compatible apps, so it is limited in some capacity. At least Windows can finally access those files.

BETTER KEYBOARD:

Android’s more enviable abilities has always been the ability to swap out your built-in keyboard for one made by a third-party developer. Apple took a “swype” at the Google born operating system by not only integrating predictive type on the native iOS 8 keyboard a feature that’s been a part of Android since its early days but by allowing its users to choose third-party keyboards via “extensions.” iPhone users will soon be able to choose apps like SwiftKey and Swypeas their primary virtual keyboard.

HTC Desire 816 Full Specification's And Features And Price

HTC Desire 816 Full Specification's And Features And Price

Smartphone maker came out with M8, a friend of mine wanted to buy it, but he realised he wasn't willing to shell out Rs 49,900 on a smartphone. Hence, I received a frantic phone call from him asking for options. Is there a device in the mid-range smartphone segment, which can give the user that premium feel and at the same time not burn a hole in the pocket? Google Nexus 5 is an option, but someone told me HTC's latest Desire 816 costs even less. It sounded too good to be true. The next day, the device came to our workplace for a review. Let me tell you how it fared.

SPECIFICATION"S:

156.6x78.7x7.9mm, if you know your mathematics, you would understand this phone is huge.Desire 816's screen is 5.5 inches, which is only a tad smaller than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and HTC One Max (both of which are considered phablets). It might be too big for some, but if you are someone who loves big screens, this is one of the most affordable around.plastic back feels very similar to that of the iPhone 5C, though it comes in more muted colours (black, red, blue, and green). Desire 816 doesn't feel cheap in any way, but is often slippery to hold and is prone to be smeared in fingerprints.Build quality is solid, but don't expect anything near as premium as its stablemate, the HTC One M8. At 165g , the device is not too heavy considering its size.

FEATURES:

Android 4.4.2 comes as standard, and this is overlaid with HTC Sense 6.0. These are the latest versions of both, and the same as seen on the HTC One M8. As such, they have a few bells and whistles.Android 4.4.2 combines texts and IM into an app called Hangouts, and you can look at business phone numbers straight from your phone book, without having to Google them. Sense 6.0, meanwhile, is cleaner and less obtrusive than its previous versions. Blinkfeed is basically a news feed that looks a bit like Windows Phone's live tiles, while HTC Zoe turns your snaps into mini photo montages. If you buy this device, you're getting most of the same software as the HTC One M8 - barring some camera features and gesture controls - but with a bigger screen and for less than half the price of M8. Obviously, it's on the hardware side of things that HTC has made some concessions.

ALSO NEW:

A 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip isn't going to set the world alight, but it's fine for day-to-day tasks like web surfing, switching between apps, and gaming. Alien shooter Edge of Tomorrow ran without a hitch, and the big screen and front-facing BoomSound speakers really added to the experience. This will change as games become more graphically advanced, so be warned, the HTC Desire 816 won't always be able to handle newer games.

HTC Desire 816 get a thumbs up from our side. If you can sacrifice a few features and are prepared to forego top-end performance, but still want a big screen, this phone is a real contender for Rs 23,999. It might be worth waiting to try the OnePlus One, likely to be launched in June.

Cheaper Windows Mobile's 2014

Cheaper Windows Mobile's 2014

Hi Friends! Cheaper smartphones running Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system are on the way, a Microsoft executive said Wednesday.Speaking at the Computex trade show in Taipei, Microsoft’s Nick Parker, who handles the company’s partnerships with device makers, said the new handsets could be out by the end of the year.Compared to current models, which are in the “fours, fives and sixes,” he said referring to prices between $400 and $699, the new phones would have price points in the “ones, twos and threes.”Asked to clarify if he was referring to end-market prices without carrier subsidies, Parker said he was.He didn’t identify the manufacturers that would be bringing the phones to market, but there’s a good chance they are among nine companies Microsoft signed up to its Windows Phone development program earlier this year.
            windows phone
Addition to existing partners Nokia, Samsung, HTC and Huawei, Microsoft added Foxconn, Gionee, Lava (Xolo), Lenovo, LG, Longcheer, JSR, Karbonn and ZTE.Some of the new partners have significant market share in developing countries where phones generally have lower prices than in developed markets.Microsoft launched the latest version of its Windows Phone operating system, Windows Phone 8, in late 2012 to critical praise. The operating system was slow to catch on with consumers though, perhaps due to the absence of several popular apps on the platform, but has been slowly increasing its market share.Windows Phone had a 3 percent share of the smartphone market in the fourth quarter of 2013, up from 2.6 percent in the last three months of 2012, according to IDC. In contrast, Google’s Android dominated the smartphone market at the end of 2013 with a 78.1 percent share. Apple’s iOS was in second place at 17.6 percent.

IDC forecasts Windows Phone will continue to increase its market share to hit 7 percent in 2018.
