And just last month, it introduced another messaging app called Slingshot, which we called an ephemeral messaging app to rival Snapchat. It’s a bit of a bonkers idea that has divided opinions, but essentially it borrows from other well known apps like Vine, Instagram (another Facebook service), and Snapchat.
Facebook Messenger on your iPad before today, it was essentially a blown-up version of the iPhone incarnation. And for many, today’s update has been long overdue.
