Friends! Galaxy Note Edgewould be available starting this month, without providing an exact launch date. Now, thanks to NTT DoCoMo - Japan’s largest mobile carrier - we know that the Edge will be released on October 23 According to DoCoMo, only the black version of the Galaxy Note Edge will be launched on October 23, with the white model expected to go on sale sometime in November. October 23 is also the day when NTT DoCoMo will start selling the Sony Xperia Z3 - but this is already available around the world, so that’s not really news.
Jpan was chosen by Samsung as the first country to get the Galaxy Note Edge, with other select regions expected to get it soon, too. As previously reported, the Edge won’t be widely available, and Samsung may ship only 1 million units by the end of the year. Of course, we must not forget that this is a unique device, and its manufacturing process is, most likely, a bit complicated. The Note Edge is the world’s first smartphone to feature a display that curves around one of its edges. This curved screen can act as a separate display from the main 5.6-inch, Quad HD one, providing quick access to apps, notifications, and live information. In the US, the Galaxy Note Edge will be released via all major carriers, but we don’t know exactly when it’s going to happen. We'll let you know when we hear more on this anyway.
