The source told the website that the job of the second camera will be to enable the phone to take photographs using the bokeh technique.Bokeh refers to the blur caused by a picture with a short depth of focus. It is particularly popular in portrait photography.
The second lens will be controlled via an app bundled with the phone.If true, the inclusion of a second lens would be the first time the approach has featured in a camera that made it to market. The concept was demonstrated by Toshiba before Christmas in a prototype.
